Reviewing the iPad mini

We’re continuing to work our way through the pile of products Apple unveiled in October. Last week, it was the MacBook Pro’s turn in the podcast spotlight. This week, we turn our attention to the iPad mini.
I’m joined by senior editor Dan Frakes, fresh off writing his epic-length iPad mini review, and senior editor Dan Moren, who’s reviewing the fourth-generation iPad. (Look for that review to appear on Macworld.com later this week.) We focus our time on the mini, with both Dans sharing their experiences using Apple’s new slimmer tablet.

Show Notes

There are quite a few iPad minis out in the wild now: Apple sold 3 million iPads this past weekend (though it didn’t break down how many of those were minis and how many were fourth-generation models). If Dan’s review and our podcast inspire you to join the ranks of new iPad purchasers, here’s som advice on what to do with your old iPad.
If it’s iPad mini-friendly accessories you seek, we’ve just posted a review of the iPad mini Smart Cover.
